Elevate your mantle, bookshelf, or entry console with this beautifully curated pair of vintage mid-century art pottery pieces from the historic Hull Pottery Company. Spanning two distinct design eras, this complimentary set bridges the organic, romantic lines of the late 1940s with the sleek, structured geometric forms of the 1950s.
What’s Included in the Collection:
1940s Hull "Wildflower" Cornucopia / Ewer Vase (Mold W8-7½"): Features an elegant, asymmetrical flared rim and stylized handles. The body showcases a striking matte coral-pink base with classic white sponged texturing, boldly grounded by a solid charcoal-black base and matching black handle accents.
1950s Hull "Suave" Line Square Planter / Vase (Mold 116): A harder-to-find mid-century modern design featuring an embossed, organic leaf relief pattern. The satin matte glaze seamlessly transitions from a deep emerald green at the base to a dusty rose/mauve upper rim.
Styling & Design Tip:
The shared palette of dusty rose and deep forest greens makes these two distinct lines function perfectly as a cohesive vignette. They offer a striking contrast in form—one fluid and classical, the other blocky and modern—ideal for collectors looking to add authentic mid-century texture and color to a space.

No chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs to the outside of either piece. The only notable flaw is minor interior discoloration and light staining on the inside bottom of the Suave leaf planter from historic use. This is completely concealed when the piece is on display. Both bases carry the authentic, incised Hull U.S.A. hallmarks. less
