Of … Read more For sale is a gorgeous, hand blown art glass vase, designed in 1957 by Viktor Berndt for Flygsfors’ . Of an asymmetrical shape, the bulbeous top is light green, encased in clear glass. A pattern of dark brown-purplish lines extends to the clear, tapered middle, the wider bottom has an encased red bubble.
This Flamingo piece seems to be wrongly attributed to Paul Kedelv, and has been found with fake signatures from Kosta / Vike Lindstrandt, according to Collectors Weekly

In very good vintage condition, with very few, minor, fine surface scratches to the body and extensive scratching to the bottom. No chips or cracks. What looks like a fleabite in the bottom is actually a tiny burst bubble, a little manufacturing flaw (see photo). Etched into the bottom twice: Flamingo.
