Beautiful original antique cast iron fireplace insert with intricate Victorian scrollwork and decorative detailing throughout. This is a substantial, heavy piece with fantastic patina and character that would make an incredible restoration project, decorative fireplace feature, or architectural statement piece.
The insert is marked "Ruby" and appears to be an authentic late 19th to early 20th century coal fireplace insert/summer cover.
