It looks to be a lute stringed instrument With music notes floating to the side. The background yellow tiles are turned diagonally making it a little more unusual. There is a label to the back from my San Jose California shop leading me to believe, California artist possibly. It is in good condition with no breaks are missing pieces. The frame has a few nicks and worn spots. This is a vintage piece out of an estate from the 1950s. Measurements are for the frame. Actual mosaic measures 22 and three-quarter inches by 11 and three-quarter inches. See less
