The discs are 15 1/2 inches in size and carries U.S. patent dates consistent with the 1890s production period. The box retains its hand-crank, original-style interior lid art, molded case, and decorative line inlay. The stand features dedicated vertical disc slots, carved wreath-decorated lower doors, cabriole legs, and a pull-out side shelf.
Seller reports it plays beautifully and produces a sort of magical sound that only these antique music boxes can provide. This is a very well-kept, heirloom level piece with strong display presence.
