This folk art ceramic pitcher is cleverly disguised as bunch of asparagus tied together with a yellow ribbon. The trompe-l'oeil is achieved by the dimensional texture of each asparagus stalk and the hand-painted detailing of the asparagus tips, and the realistic variations of the green glaze.
