A beautifully preserved early American office chair crafted from solid oak and retaining its original cast-iron mechanical adjustment system, swivel function, and original rolling casters.

Built during an era when commercial furniture was designed for generations of service, this substantial chair combines the warmth of quarter-sawn oak with the honest engineering of exposed industrial hardware. The sculpted saddle seat, broad crest rail, and graceful spindle back create a silhouette that feels equally at home in a historic library, executive office, designer loft, or curated study.

The chair retains its original oak finish, which has been lovingly maintained and carefully restored over time. Rather than being stripped or heavily refinished, the finish has been preserved to showcase the natural character of the oak and the rich patina developed through decades of use.
