The set of 3 plates were gifted by a Iranian Minister to a former US Foreign Service Officer upon arrival … Read more The set of 3 plates were gifted by a Iranian Minister to a former US Foreign Service Officer upon arrival to post in Tehran in early 1950’s. They were displayed together in the US Embassy Administrative Section and later were displayed as part of a Persian metal work collection at the headquarters of a US international health and development organization. Two of the plates are the same size. The third complimentary plate is slightly smaller.
The nickel silver plates feature a classical hunting scene and would be a fine compliment to an Indo-Persian collection of metal work. See less
