The board size is 21 x 34 inches, framed is 29.25 x 42.5 inches. it is custom framed in a wooden gold frame with fabric liner. it is in very good condition, color are fresh and bright.

About the artist.

Born 1907, in Brussels, to an English mother, he died in 1975, in Brussels.
Willi A. Rondas was active in France, England and Belgium, he was a well known painter and architect. His favorite subject was cityscapes and some of his work where totally surrealist.
He initially studied singing, but later qualified as an architect in Paris. He practised as an architect in the Belgian Congo (currently Democratic Republic of Congo) before turning to paint in Paris in 1931, where he studied Art. The work of Willi Rondas is in numerous private collections worldwide. See less
