The glaze presents a field of circular to oval eyes, each with a golden ochre center ringed by a teal green halo, set against a lavender grey ground that deepens to blue black at the dark fired rim. The interior spots radiate outward in concentric rings from a pale center pool, while the exterior carries the same pattern with slightly larger and more defined spots separated by areas of lavender and blue teal wash. The effect shifts noticeably under different lighting conditions, giving the piece strong visual presence from multiple angles.

The foot ring is unglazed, exposing a tan grey stoneware body. An incised two character mark appears within a circular cartouche at the base center. The glaze breaks naturally at the rim consistent with reduction fired stoneware.

Measures approximately 5 inches in diameter by 2.5 inches tall. Very good condition with minor firing irregularities inherent to the piece and light surface wear consistent with age and use. See less
