Add French elegance and comfort to a study, vanity, or writing desk with this antique-style Louis XV chair. Crafted in France circa 1950, the walnut chair features the graceful lines and refined proportions associated with the Louis XV period, interpreted through the high-quality craftsmanship of the Mid-Century era.
The frame is richly carved with scrolling shell motifs across the serpentine apron and acanthus-carved knees that flow into elegant cabriole legs ending in scrolled feet. The shaped seat and tall arched back are upholstered in a tailored geometric fabric in warm brown, caramel, and cream tones, accented with decorative brass nailhead trim. The upholstery remains clean and well-presented, complementing the warm walnut patina beautifully.
Compact in scale yet highly decorative, this Mid-Century French Louis XV chair is ideal as a desk chair, occasional side chair, bedroom accent, or additional dining seat. It is sturdy, comfortable, and versatile, blending effortlessly into both traditional and transitional interiors.
