A smart and extremely well made pair of antique military campaign bachelor chest of drawers. They were made in England, they date from around the 1930’s.
The quality is excellent, they are a great size to be used as decent sized bedside chests, or as side chests / tables around the home. They are very functional and have tops that can unfold to double in size.
The wood has a lovely colour tone and patina, they have high quality brass mounts and military handles.
We have had them recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age. There are a few very small marks and indentations here and there beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
