The result is a marbled decoration, predominantly pink in the upper part, where concentric almond-shaped motifs, blending burgundy, violet, green, and white, radiate from the flattened bulbous base, covered with a pearly iridescence likely achieved through treatment with metallic vapors.

The vase features a finely chased, dark-core, gilt metal mount: a foliate rim forming a crown at the top, and three openwork appliqués composed of a central stem adorned with flowers, lateral scrolls, and descending garlands of interconnected blossoms.
