Aguilar's work is also represented in notable private collections, including that of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Handwoven in the early 1990s, this beautiful lidded basket is crafted from natural horsehair, twine, and grasses using the tightly coiled techniques for which Aguilar is best known.
