Up for sale is a very high quality 19th century gilt bronze fireplace tool set.
The set is made of very thick gold gilded bronze and has is very elaborately done with intricate detailing throughout.
This lovely set comes with a pair of tongs and a shovel that have iron shafts, and a matching stand with arms which hold the tools in place.
The set in nice used condition, has acquired a lovely patina from age, and measures 26 inches tall by 12 inches wide by 10 1/2 inches back to front.
