Two vintage etched floral baskets made by Duncan & Miller Glass Company in Washington, PA. The tall one is 11.5 inches and the short one is 7 inches. They make a lovely table display for a bridal shower or small wedding. Every bride needs something OLD!
This style of glass basket was meant to hold flowers...and is not associated with the term, "bride's baskets". These tall, handled baskets were all the rage for roughly 20 years, from 1920 to 1940. The smallest ones were popular for holding small bouquets of wild violets or violas. Most of the American glass companies carried them in their catalogs.
The dimensions of the small basket are: 7" H X 4" W X 2.5" D.
