A masterfully cast micro-scale devotional shrine grouping featuring a central deity flanked by attendants beneath a multi-headed cobra canopy, displaying a lovely burnished olive-gold patina. Hand-cast via ancestral lost-wax techniques, this complex pocket-sized altar fragment captures an incredible level of mythic storytelling within a highly compact silhouette. The solid bronze carving portrays a central divine figure flanked symmetrically by two smaller devotional attendants, each with hands pressed together in a respectful prayer mudra. The entire triad is sheltered beneath the protective, sprawling hood of a multi-headed sacred serpent, or Naga, whose individual cobra heads flare upward to form a dramatic, crown-like architectural frame.
Measuring just 4 inches tall including its pedestal, the casting is mounted directly onto a low-profile, clean-lined block of dark wood that neatly highlights the primitive contours of the metalwork. Over a lifetime of ritual handling and exposure, the heavy alloy has aged into a beautiful sun-warmed olive-gold and honeyed brass colorway. Darker umber oxidation settles perfectly inside the deep recesses of the serpent hood and the figures' features, emphasizing the raw, organic lines native to historical sand mold releases. This intriguing small-scale object serves as a highly sophisticated accent piece, bringing an instant layer of global history, architectural structure, and old-world texture to a luxury vanity tray, an editorial built-in library shelf, or a modern mantel arrangement.
