Finely carved walnut display table with a glass top set within a molded frame, over an apron richly decorated with floral garlands and ribbon tied swags. Raised on elegantly shaped legs with foliate carvings, joined by a curved stretcher with a central turned boss.
Designed as a "table de curiosites", intended for the display of small objects and collectibles beneath glass. The carving is crisp and well-detailed throughout, reflecting high-quality French crafstmanship in the Louis XVI neoclassical tradition.
Structurally sound and highly decorative, suitable for both traditional and refined contemporary interiors.
