The fronts, sides, and backs are entirely covered in marquetry of rosewood and light fruitwood, forming chevron and lozenge patterns. The Aleppo breccia marble tops, in shades of orange, beige, and pink, have a scalloped profile that follows the bombé shape of the pieces. The bronze mounts include sculpted female heads at the upper corners, foliate drops, rocaille handles, and slender cabriole feet.

Workshop report: some veneer loss was noted on the drawers, requiring partial restoration. Any necessary repairs can be carried out in the workshop. Weight: 40 kg for the pair. Dimensions per piece: H. 70 cm – W. 33 cm. See less
