This artwork "On the Road" is a watercolor on paper by noted California artist Henry Waltermar Doane, 1905-2002. It is signed by the artist at the lower right corner. The artwork size is 21.25 x 28.25 inches, framed size is 28.25 x 30.25 inches. Framed in original brown and light grey wooden frame.
The artwork is in excellent condition, the frame is in good condition, it have some minor restorations, barely visible.
About the artist:
Born in Cambridge, MA on Oct. 20, 1905. Doane came to California in 1907 and studied at the CCAC, the Rudolph Schaeffer School of Design in San Francisco, and privately with Charles Horton, Otis Sheppard, and John Gerrity. Upon his retirement in 1969, he had worked for over 40 years in display advertising. From 1952-79 he conducted watercolor workshops in Virginia City, NV. Over the years he acted as juror for art shows throughout northern California. His paintings won many awards at the Lodi Grape Festivals, California State Fairs, and Alameda County Fairs before his death in Newman, CA on Aug. 24, 2002 His work is held in numerous collections nationwide.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
