Circa 1780-1800 George III work box, English. Superb for many uses. Flame mahogany cross-banded in mahogany with line inlays of light & dark woods. Diamond escutcheon (minor loss). Lion mask handles. Bun feet. Interior lid parquetry panel banded in rosewood. Fitted top section lifts out to open storage. Oake secondary wood. Minor veneer stringing loss; overall good condition given age & use.
