Offered is a Scandinavian style Ikea brand Värmer, firewood basket made of Ash bentwood with a thick hemp nautical rope handle.
As with many clever Ikea designs, this piece can multi-function as a floor basket for books and magazines. Originally released in 2004, it was created by the Swedish design duo Sarah Fager and her husband, Jens Fager in collaboration with Kenyan designers Naeem Biviji and Bethan Rayner. This piece was part of the limited-edition VÄRMER holiday collection, which celebrated winter and holiday traditions from both the Northern Hemisphere and the equator.
