The proportions and metal back bracing give the chair an early handmade character rooted in Colonial Revival and English tavern forms from the turn of the century. Its sculptural silhouette works beautifully in farmhouse, cottage, Primitive, and traditional interiors, serving as a distinctive accent chair for seating or decorative display. See less
