An antique English country pine six drawer buffet, c.1850
Constructed from solid natural pine with a warm honey finish which highlight its rustic wood grains, knots and age. Having a plank top under which are 6 graduating drawers with hand turned pull knobs. All drawers open and close smoothly. In the middle there is a recessed or kneehole center. This has a cupboard door with a scalloped valance above. Inside are two shelves for storage. There is no lock on the door. The base is made of a continuous shaped top plinth. Good antique condition showing a patina of years of use and age. The back has a long thin missing piece as seen in the pics, but it doesn’t affect the rigidity of the back boards. Recently waxed and polished.
