The scrolled armrests are carved with dolphin motifs, a characteristic ornament of Napoleonic decorative vocabulary. The front legs are saber-shaped, in keeping with the stylistic conventions of the period; the rear legs are straight. The seats and backs are upholstered in burgundy/plum velvet, secured with a row of silver-plated upholstery tacks. The backs of the armchairs reveal the beechwood frame, which is a lighter shade than the fronts.

Light wear consistent with the age of the pieces, with no major damage observed.

Dimensions: H. 87 cm – W. 47 cm – Seat height: 40 cm – Weight per armchair: approximately 12 kg.
