This pair of solid walnut balustrades stands out for its solid and elegant architectural structure, typical of high-end classical cabinetmaking (likely Baroque or Neoclassical).
Each element is composed of a row of turned bulbous or "elongated vase" columns, alternating with square cubes at the base that rest on a solid molded base. On the sides, the structure is bordered by sturdy supporting pillars embellished with geometric tray panels and projecting cornices.
The upper section is completed by a wide, deep, flat handrail with shaped edges, featuring a splendid antique patina that highlights the natural grain, the dense texture of the walnut, and the signs of aging, lending these pieces charm and historical authenticity.
