The linen fabric has such a fine structure that it gives the lamp an extra dimension, both when it is off and on.

“During the years 1941-1946, Josef Frank lived and worked in New York. He found the city plan interesting in its simplification and therefore created the pattern Manhattan, which shows the map of the island. In the lower rectangle, the northern tip of Manhattan with the Washington Bridge, Cloisters and Inwood Hill Park is visible. This is where Josef Frank lived with his Swedish wife Anna, not far from the northernmost part of Broadway.”

A cover for the lampshade is included and this allows you to control how the light is distributed on the shade and base and can thus adapt the light to your mood or occasion. It is a perfect combination of function and aesthetics.

Both base and shade can be used separately, both on other lamp bases and as hanging from the ceiling or window.

50 cm high and 24 cm ø.

The lamp base has a white textile cable. The electricity is FI-marked, which means that the electricity is double insulated, and provides increased safety and security for the user.
