Empire walnut secretaire. The drawer in the lower section slightly protrudes, supported by turned half-columns with chiseled and gilded bronze bases and capitals. The drop-down door conceals a bar cabinet with a mirrored front, replacing the original cabinet. The base features a pair of paneled doors, half-column uprights like the upper ones, and truncated pyramidal feet. Brass sheet appliques and moldings. Italy, early 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
