The so-called Radiohus lamp was designed by the Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s in collaboration with Louis Poulsen for the Danish Broadcasting House (Radiohuset) in Copenhagen and has since been reissued by Louis Poulsen. This rather early example, in the large version with a 37cm diameter, is estimated to date from the 1960s and is in good condition for its age; only the upper rim, which is covered by a brass cap, has a chip of approximately 1cm.
