Hand-decorated porcelain with hand-painted blue floral motifs and gilt edging along the rim. Classic elegant Meissen design with gently scalloped border. Origin: Germany, Meissen. Material: Porcelain. Dimensions: H. 4–5 cm, W. 17–19 cm, L. 25–27 cm. Period: Mid-20th century. Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of use. Marked with Meissen crossed swords, cancelled with two incised lines. Founded in 1710, Meissen Porzellanmanufaktur was Europe’s first producer of true hard-paste porcelain. Renowned for its exquisite hand-painting and technical mastery, its blue crossed swords remain one of the world’s oldest registered trademarks. See less
