The front of the bureau displays a gorgeous, rich mahogany patination that warms the home interior.

The fall front to the bureau can be held open by the two smooth pull out supports, finished with round metal handles.
There is a key present that will lock the drop front shut, to keep the interior safe.

The desk interior opens to a leather writing desk worktop that has been embossed with a gorgeous gilt floral design.
The interior has 6 smaller pigeon holes, and two side drawers, perfect for storing documents and books.

The front of the bureau has a small upper drawer, with three larger, lower graduating drawers.
All of the drawers are finished with figured metal handles and a raised lip surrounding the drawers.

This writing desk standing proudly on 4 solid figured feet, with a lower boarder to finish.

Overall, this Vintage Writing Bureau is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use and veneer wear (as photographed), as to be expected from an item with years of age.
There are signs of wear to the leather top (see photographs).
