Salloch, the German-born American artist and graphic designer who emigrated to the United
States in 1937. This unframed work depicts a vintage watercolor landscape painting of a quiet wetlands area.. Signed at the bottom right and dated 1940.
The sheet measures approximately 14.5'' X 21''. Condition is vintage and unrestored, with
[brief honest condition note: light toning and minor edge wear. Sold unframed.
A strong example of Salloch’s mid-century landscape work, with fluid ink line and transparent
watercolor washes.
