The interior retains its removable organizer tray along with a collection of original Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway paperwork discovered inside, including conductor passes and telegram forms. Its substantial scale and worn industrial character give the piece a strong early American railway presence, whether placed beside a hearth, beneath a console, or used as a storage trunk within farmhouse, Primitive, and collected interiors.
