Taylor Pierce is a Las Vegas-based contemporary landscape painter whose original desert paintings capture the beauty, resilience, and spiritual presence of the American Southwest. Working from direct observation and a deeply personal connection to place, Pierce creates enchanting landscape artworks that translate the textures, colors, and shifting light of the desert into paintings filled with atmosphere and vitality. Her compositions highlight the timeless appeal of landscape painting, offering collectors original contemporary paintings that evoke nature, memory, and a strong sense of belonging. Rooted in both reverence and experience, Pierce’s work speaks to those seeking meaningful desert landscapes, nature-inspired art, and original paintings that bring warmth, depth, and connection into a space.

At the center of Pierce’s practice is a sustained relationship with the land. Time spent outdoors shapes her visual language, allowing each painting to emerge from lived encounters with weathered stone, shifting terrain, desert plant life, and the changing light of the Southwest. Rather than presenting landscape as simple scenery, Pierce approaches place as a living presence marked by energy, resilience, and memory. Her paintings hold that sense of connection, creating works that feel grounded, luminous, and deeply attentive to the character of the natural world.
Pierce is a self-taught artist whose growing recognition includes exhibitions across the Southwest and placement in private and corporate collections throughout the United States. In 2025, she completed an Artist Residency at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, working with the Bureau of Land Management to support public understanding and stewardship of the conservation area through her art. Her work is also included in the collection of the Bureau of Land Management at the Red Rock Canyon NCA Visitors Center and in Capital One’s lounge at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
