For your consideration is this striking pair of "Twig" sculptural wall sconces by Global Views, dated 2014. Crafted during the highly regarded early production run of this design, these heavy, substantial fixtures feature an intricately detailed, organic branch and root structure made of solid cast metal with a rich, dark bronze-patina finish. Lending a powerful graphic element to any wall, they bridge the gap between functional lighting and fine relief sculpture.
This pair represents a premium, early-edition manufacturing run (Item No. 9-4802-1, contract manufactured by Lamplux), noted for its superior casting sharpness and weight compared to later iterations.
Designer's Note: These hardwired fixtures are currently missing their original rectangular metal box shades. They present a fantastic, customizable opportunity for an interior designer or collector to style them as organic statement wall sculptures, or to commission bespoke textile, parchment, or pierced-metal shades to fit the existing mounting brackets.
