The age is unknown, … Read more An antique Chinese gilt bronze figure that appears to be either Daoist or a guanyin form. The age is unknown, however, it is safe to assume this is an archaistic figure that was produced in the 19th century at the latest. Could be much older. The figure depicts a female with hand positioning that we are not familiar with. It stands 16" tall with a dimensions of approximateyl 5" x 4" at the base.

Overall good condition for an antique item from China. There is loss of gilding throughout, as well as many areas of wear and discoloration. There is also evidence of bronze disease (green areas), however all of the bronze appears to intact and solid. Overall, just fabulous! Please examine all photos closely.
