Tall, slender blue glass vessel is a hand-blown iridescent art glass bud vase, created by the renowned Canadian glass artist Robert Held.
It features hand-painted iridescence in the shades of cobalt or turquoise blue, decorated with a signature swirling "thread" or "drip" pattern in a darker, contrasting color. It is a "solifleur" (bud vase) design with a bulbous body that tapers into a long, thin neck and a wide, flat rim. Approximately 10 3/4" tall and 1 1/2" dia top and bottom.
Signed by the artist. No damage noted, just general surface wear on the bottom.
