This compact chest dates from the late Shōwa period. The layout is simple and practical: three wide drawers arranged one above the other, with light wooden interiors and beautifully profiled drawer fronts. The exterior has a soft sheen, lively wood grain and a sober design that gives the piece a refined, timeless appearance.

The black metal handles create a subtle contrast with the warm wood and add a quiet Japanese character.
