This compact display table dates from the Shōwa period. The piece has a raised tabletop with softly upturned ends, giving it the appearance of a small presentation table or display tray. The gently curved, flared legs create a calm architectural silhouette, while the single drawer beneath the top adds subtle practical storage.

The warm wood colour, fine grain and careful finish give the piece an elegant and timeless presence. Its understated design makes it ideal for displaying ikebana, bonsai, ceramics, a small sculpture, books or another special object.
