This reclining upholstered armchair is an exceptionally comfortable and elegant example of Czech furniture design from the Art Deco period of the early 20th century. The piece perfectly blends the luxurious aesthetics of the interwar era with advanced mechanical solutions for maximum relaxation. The frame is crafted from solid wood veneered with walnut, showcasing a rich and deep wood grain. During the meticulous restoration process, the original wood polish was sensitively revived, restoring its natural warm tone and silky luster. The armchair features an advanced comfort system – excellent ergonomics are provided by traditional steel springs beneath the seat, while the backrest angle can be easily adjusted using a mechanism whose chrome-plated steel components have been professionally cleaned and polished.
