Mid-century decorative ceramic flower holder (circa 1960s) by Marcel Giraud, Vallauris, France. A delightful creation with a graceful, spherical shape, sporting a mouth surrounded by flower holes making this a very original piece. The glaze is a subtle sandy coloured base with a Japonisme-inspired decorative motif. The spout lip is painted brown with touches of jade green. The vase may be used for its intended purpose or simply displayed as a beautiful ceramic object. Either way, it will bring some Zen into your life. In good overall condition.
