A beautiful pair of antique chests of drawers in the Georgian style. They were made in England, they date from around the 1950’s period.
The quality is outstanding, they sit on nicely shaped bracket feet and have wonderful solid brass handles with lovely details. The wood has a gorgeous colour tone and stunning grain patterns. Each chest has canted corners, cross banded tops and a pull out brush slide shelf that comes out from beneath the tops. They are a very useful size, perfect for use as large bedside chests, or as occasional side tables in a living room setting.
We have had them recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
