Oil on canvas. At the bottom left is the date 1890 and an unidentified signature. (William Barry?) A broad landscape framing a valley between moorland hills, made up of rocks and low vegetation, through which a river flows. The predominantly brown tones of the vegetation prevail over the clarity of the river, further obscured by the reflection of the gray clouds. Framed in a period style. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
