A lyrical abstract composition constructed from faceted fields of green, red, blue and yellow tones. The painting radiates a rhythmic balance between structure and dissolution — a vibrating chromatic field where the subject is sensed rather than depicted. Characteristic of Olson’s mature 1970s period, influenced by post-war French lyrical abstraction.
