All-over abstract composition hand-painted in acrylic and oil paint and hand-finished by artist Lionel Lamy on an up-cycled 1970's solid wood dresser. Brass hardware is original to the piece. Has plenty of storage with nine pull out drawers. One of a kind piece that's both art object and functional furniture. Signed and dated on inside right. Measures: 80" wide x 20" deep x 30.5" high.
Artist bio:
Born in France in 1978 , Lionel emigrated to Dallas in 1985. Growing up watching his father paint he began his own journey as a painter at the age of 15. Mr. Lamy has shown works in Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City, changing styles repeatedly over the years and experimenting with abstraction, minimalism, and figurative elements. He lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
