The overhanging lid lifts to reveal its original iron strap hinges and a large compartment for storage with a till on the right for gloves and small objects. Outside, the three panels on the front are above two working drawers retaining their original brasses and locks. Both sides are also paneled and the chest rests on bracket feet with only minor wear. A beautiful golden color and patina add to the beauty of the piece that makes a singular statement whenever it is placed. Truly a one of a kind. See less
