He signed his pieces on the smooth, unglazed base using fluid iron-oxide or mineral paints. Because traditional bruñido clay is completely free of chemical glass glazes, the finish is delicate, and feels soft. It should never be submerged it in water; clean it by gently dusting it with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. See less
