A charming old French porcelain vase with a beautiful glaze and a long history told in a series of repairs and multiple paper labels on its underside. It was once sold or perhaps repaired at an F. Noble Antique Shop in New York in 1941 which is now long gone. It has multiple repairs including to its neck and a vertical line on its side.
An interesting form, it appears similar to a hookah base and may have in fact been utilized as such at one point (which might explain the repairs to its neck).
