A cult-followed BDDW Tripod Lamp by Tyler Hays — hand-carved and turned solid maple with a natural oil finish. Custom-ordered directly from BDDW just a few months ago and in essentially new condition. Tested and operating perfectly.
The Tripod is one of BDDW's signature pieces and has been a staple since the early 2000s. Every detail is scratch-made: the carved maple switch pulls, the hand-turned wooden plug, the chrome ball finial, and the BDDW stamp branded into the leg. Cloth-wrapped cord.
Includes two shades: the original 26" white linen BDDW drum shade in new condition, plus an alternate 14" × 17" cream-white drum shade that gives the lamp a taller, more cylindrical silhouette.
Selling because the scale is too generous for my apartment — this lamp belongs in a room that can hold it. Sad to see it go!

The lamp is in essentially new condition with no functional wear. Tested and operating perfectly. Wood: Maple base is clean throughout with no scratches, dents, or finish damage. Natural oil finish is intact. Shades: Original 26" white linen drum shade is unmarked and in new condition. The second custom-made cylindrical white linen shade is also new — commissioned shortly after the lamp arrived and lightly used. Hardware: Chrome ball finial, carved maple switch pulls, hand-turned wooden plug, and cloth-wrapped cord are all original and in excellent working condition. BDDW stamp on the leg is crisp and clearly legible. No smoke, no pets, no damage to report.
