Joints are tight. The top is nice quarter sawn oak. It has scratches, dents, dirt and imperfections consistent with its age. The lower shelf spindle rail has one clear break/separation on top of rail. It is clean and smooth and could easily be glued. Overall, it is very good condition for a 100+ year old table. There are no alterations to the table. It is original as built with original finish. less
